The Avenue of the Dead is the long straight path that connect the moon and sun pyramids. There once was a time when the path was completely clear of any obstacles, but now trees and shrubs have forced themselves between the cracks in the stone brick passageway. Tall dark trees grow on both sides, casting pleasant shade down onto the cool slate stones. Deers dash daringly across the path, their hooves clattering as they melt into the foliage.
